Donald E. (Gene) Gilin

Gene graduated from Central Michigan University and then earned his masters degree from Michigan State University. He works in the risk management and investment arena and has 25 years of experience. After several years in the field, Gene joined The Centennial Group where he supervised the activities of registered representatives of Centennial Financial Services in his role as the Registered Principal of a Securian Financial Services branch office.

In July of 2010, Gene left The Centennial Group and joined ValMark Securities, Inc. on a full time basis. His new affiliation with ValMark Securities has allowed him to have access to a wider variety of services for his clients.

Gene’s Qualifications Include:

Personal:

Gene lives in Haslett, Michigan along with his wife Milly. Gene and Milly have lived in the Lansing area for many years and have two daughters. He has served as an Elder at People’s Church and also as the Treasurer for a former Ingham County Prosecutor and Circuit Court judge.
